What can I do with Hasmar PDF?
Merge PDFs, split documents, remove pages, change page order, rotate pages and convert photos into a PDF. The tools process files on your device.
Do I need to pay or create an account?
The tools themselves are free and do not require a Hasmar PDF account. No account is needed to open this public website or use its tools.
Which browsers work best?
Use an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, with JavaScript enabled. File size, image decoding and download behavior depend on your browser and device. A laptop is a better choice for large documents.
Working with PDFs
How do I merge PDF files?
Choose Merge PDF, add your files, then check the page thumbnails. Drag pages or use their arrows to arrange the final order. Choose an output filename and select Download PDF.
How do custom split ranges work?
Choose Split PDF and Custom page groups. Enter 1-3, 4-6, 7 to create three PDFs containing those groups. Page numbers refer to the current workspace order. The files download together in a ZIP.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Use Undo to recover recent page removals, moves or rotations. Clear starts a fresh session and cannot be undone. Reloading or leaving the editor also discards your session.
Are text and image quality preserved?
The PDF organizer copies PDF pages without turning them into images. It does not intentionally resample page images. However, interactive forms, annotations, bookmarks and signed-document features may not survive copying; check the output and keep your original.
Can I use password-protected or signed PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Use an unencrypted copy you are authorized to edit. Editing a digitally signed PDF may invalidate its signatures. Hasmar PDF does not certify or preserve signature validity.
What are the PDF limits?
The workspace accepts up to 50 MB of source PDFs and 300 active pages. Large scans can still exceed your device’s available memory. If a file fails, try fewer or smaller files.
Photo to PDF
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP. HEIC, GIF and RAW files are not supported; convert them first. The tool accepts up to 100 photos totaling 50 MB, with a 32-megapixel limit per image.
Can I rearrange and rotate photos first?
Yes. Drag the thumbnails, or use the left and right arrows under each photo. Use the rotate button to turn an image clockwise. Remove any unwanted photos; each remaining photo becomes one PDF page.
Will my photos be cropped?
No. Images are fitted entirely inside the chosen page and margins. Choose A4, US Letter or Fit to image. Automatic orientation uses each photo’s shape for A4 and Letter; Fit to image always follows the photo.
Does conversion change image quality?
Photos are normalized to high-quality JPEG for the PDF. Photos larger than 3,200 pixels on their longest edge are resized, and transparent areas become white. Your original files remain unchanged.
Privacy and troubleshooting
Do you upload or store my files?
The app does not upload or store document or photo contents on a server. They are held in the browser during your session. Downloaded files remain on your device. Hosting request logs and access cookies are separate; see the Privacy Policy.
Why is my download a ZIP file?
Split PDF can produce several PDFs, so they are packaged in one ZIP. Extract the ZIP using your device’s file manager to access each PDF.
Why did a file fail to open or export?
It may be encrypted, damaged, unsupported or too large for your device’s available memory. Try a smaller file in an updated browser. If it still fails, contact us with your browser version and error text. Do not send confidential documents.
