Make one study PDF from several handouts: merge the files, check the sequence, remove repeated pages and save a copy. Hasmar PDF processes the documents in your browser.
Start with the right tool
If your notes are already PDFs, open Merge PDF. If they are camera photos, use Photo to PDF first, then merge the resulting PDF with your handouts. Merging does not turn handwriting into searchable text or create a table of contents.
Build your study pack
- Keep the originals. Work from copies of the files you are authorized to use.
- Add your PDFs. Check the source filename under each page thumbnail. A filename such as “Week 03” can help you recognize the section, but it does not set the export order automatically.
- Arrange the pages. Drag a thumbnail or use its left and right arrows. Put introductory notes first, followed by examples and exercises.
- Remove repeated covers. Select unwanted pages and choose Remove selected. Undo restores a recent mistake.
- Fix sideways scans. Rotate a page clockwise until its preview is upright. Two turns correct an upside-down page.
- Name and download the file. Choose a meaningful output name such as calculus-week-03. The download is a new PDF.
A small example
Suppose one handout has four pages and a second has three. The merged file starts with seven pages. If the second file repeats the first handout’s cover, remove that repeated page to produce a six-page pack. Check that it is actually a duplicate before deleting it; similar-looking covers can introduce different chapters.
Check before you share
- Open the downloaded PDF and verify the page count.
- Check the boundary between handouts, where an out-of-order page is easy to miss.
- Zoom in on small text and diagrams. Merging cannot repair a blurry original scan.
- Confirm that no private notes or unrelated pages remain.
The workspace accepts up to 50 MB of source PDFs and 300 active pages. Large scans can still exceed your device’s memory. Split a large project into smaller batches if needed. Interactive forms, bookmarks, annotations and signatures may not survive page copying, so use the original document when those features matter.
