In Hasmar PDF, a comma starts a new output file and a hyphen selects consecutive pages. For example, 1-3, 4-6, 7 produces three PDFs, delivered in one ZIP.
Choose a splitting method
Open Split PDF and add your document. Choose Every page separately when you need one PDF for every page. Choose Custom page groups when you need chapters or only selected pages.

Use workspace numbers
Ranges refer to the current thumbnail order, starting with page 1. They do not refer to page numbers printed within the document. A book might have a cover and two contents pages before its printed “page 1”; that printed page is then workspace page 4.
If you reorder or remove pages first, count from the updated previews before entering ranges. For example, removing the first cover shifts every following workspace number down by one.
Avoid common range errors
0is invalid because page counting starts at 1.11is outside a ten-page document.5-2is a reversed range; use increasing numbers.1,,3includes an empty group.
To make a single PDF from nonconsecutive pages such as 1, 5 and 10, use Remove PDF pages and keep those pages instead. Entering them as comma-separated groups in Split PDF creates separate files.
Find your output
Choose an output filename, then Download split PDFs. Extract the ZIP through your device’s file manager and open each PDF to check its first and last pages. Splitting does not edit printed numbering or add chapter titles. Keep the original if it contains forms, bookmarks or digital signatures.
