How do I split a PDF into separate files?
Choose Every page separately to produce one PDF per page, or Custom page groups for selected ranges. The results download together in a ZIP file that you can extract on your device.
How can I extract chapters from a PDF?
For a ten-page document, enter 1-3, 4-7, 8-10 to create three chapter files. The numbers refer to the current workspace order, which may differ from printed page numbers.
Can I split an encrypted PDF?
No. Use an unencrypted copy you are authorized to edit. The workspace supports up to 50 MB of source PDFs and 300 active pages; available device memory can impose a lower practical limit.

Which PDFs can I use?
Use standard, unencrypted PDFs. Password-protected or damaged files aren't supported. Editing digitally signed PDFs can invalidate signatures; interactive forms, bookmarks and annotations may not survive page copying. Keep the original for these documents. Large scans may exceed your device's available memory even below the file-size limit.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. PDF and photo processing happens in your browser. The tool does not send your file contents to a processing server.
Is Hasmar PDF free to use?
Yes. These tools have no subscription, per-file fee or added watermark. File-size and page limits help protect your device's memory.
Can I arrange photos before converting?
